Artilaval

'ARTILAVAL' is a subsidiary of BIOTERRA NV. It is a definitive storage site (DSS) for excavated soil, having the capacity to store some 2.000.000 tons, it is located on the border of the Limburg municipalities Maasmechelen and Dilsen-Stokkem.

In the quarries, soil, clearing and dredging sludge reach their final destination. Materials with different environmental hygienic qualities are accepted: 210/211, 310/311, 410/411. Materials to be delivered are to be provided with an according technical report and a permission to transport soil or a certificate of raw materials.

Trucks delivering these materials can limit their transport costs by carrying sand or gravel on their way back.
